What is your second choice?

It's a trick! You guys of course know that in 66 and 67 GT-A means GT automatic and GT is 4 spd.

Yep, I had a good friend back in High School with a Red 66 GTA with a 390, He used to try my F8 69 383 Bee every couple weeks or so, .......It was like taking a knife to a gunfight, .....The Bee always got the best of him and came out on top. :rolling:

I owned some aircooled Volkwagens:
- 1969 Beetle
- 1958 ragtop Beetle
- 1958 split window panelvan
- 1970 1600TL

And ofcourse my 1968 Roadrunner...

So I would go to a massive overpowered Beetle again as a second choice if it comes to a non-mopar. But...if it has to be a mopar, I think it would be a 1968 Valiant.

So I gues you like them all...Huh ?......:rolling:

just messing with ya.

Accepted and appreciated;thanks. A friend of mine in the vintage snowmobile world calls it "B.A.D.D.-Brand attention Deficit Disorder";when your loyalties to just one brand are cloudy and murky.

Since there's one near me that I've drooled over before,I might be inclined to say Mercury,1966 427 Comet sedan in particular. Wish I had some available pics;even the die-hards here would appreciate this car. Which means the '66-7 Fairlanes and derivatives count as well-they're cousins, right?

I use to be a Mopar or no car guy. But as I get older I like any American made Automobile. A particular favorite of mine is a 1961 Ford Starliner. The trim detail was spectacular.

Sweet! I've never seen one before and like it.

Oh yeah, the 61-62 Starliners are awesome!! Find me a decent one and I might have to put this to use

You know, I've had a similar problem with a guy in a cubic dollar 56 Chevy vs. my low dollar 68 383 RR. I beat him the first time and he says he got a bad start so we went again. Beat him the second time and he said something else was wrong. And after I beat him for the third time he said the timing was off. He should have been driving a 4 dr so he would have one left to drive home with :rolling::rolling::rolling:

The funny part about it the same friend is restoring a 69 429 Boss Mustang and is wanting to run the Hemi Convert. at a local Quarter mile when we get finished with both of them.

It's funny how History repeats it's self again and again.

well mine i wouldn't exactly call a second choice lets just call it my other member of the family i've owned it since high school back in 1989 its a dusk blue bench seat 4 speed 1969 nova ss 350 matching#s it currently is under restoration, i came about my mopar probably the same way a lot of others have it starts with a chilldhood dream about owning a certain mopar some day and when the right opportunity presents itself to own that car,in the end im thankful to be able to end up with 2 of my dream rides.

I owned a 1966 Pontiac Acadian Canso.L 79 4 speed. It was a chevy 11 from the pontiac division in Canada.i was 18 yrs old ,had lots of fun with that car.Lucky to still be alive
