What MPH or RPM should a stock 440 with 727 shift

Just a little above stock 440 w 727 2400 stall, At what MPH or RPM shgould it shift through the gears

On my 360, I have her shifting about 2500-3000 Rpms under moderate acceleration. 2000-2500 under light.

Is the 727 stock or have the governors been changed? On my 727, I went to higher governors (6k+). Under hard accelaration, tranny used to shift slightly above 5K, now it shifts above 6K. Normal driving, tranny shifts quickly in the lower RPM range (2K ish).

i would say it mostly stock with heavier bands

under accelleration or just slow traffic..??? My 440 ,even 493 stroker all shifted to 2nd at about 15mph and into 3rd at around 25 to 30...under hard acceleration....I tried to shift around 5400 rpm....some will say 6k is ok but I found the increase in MPH was not worth waiting to go to 6k..I ran the best times with my setup at 5400 shift( the 5400 was shifted manually...not left in drive like the slow traffic, it shifted as it wanted)

Let the dyno tell you your full throttle shift point and it will shift sooner a light throttle
