What other Car projects that are non Mopar does anyone have going on right now?

Spent the last 4 days wiring up the 67 nova. Have all of the LS harness in, tying/routing all the other components to the right areas. Intergrating the Dakota Digital VHX gauges to the edu outputs..in about 80% done...

This is a project my son (the little guy is my grandson) and I have been working on. It's a 1988 Land Cruiser. We've removed the old/tired engine and transmission and replaced it with a 350 TBI/700R Chevrolet. Luckily there are aftermarket parts available for this type of conversion (transfer case adapter, motor mounts etc.). We removed all the original wiring (not sure I'd do that again Japanese and American wiring is a mixed marriage) and replaced it with an EZ wire harness have just a few things to figure out. We've got it running and drivable....working out the "bugs" in the TBI system (I tried to get him to go with a carb). Next we'll be tackling paint and interior...the end goal is a decent looking, decent running driver...hopefully we'll get there someday.

The day we brought it home.

Never in my life have I seen so many vacuum lines, relays and a wiring nightmare.

350/700R with transfer case (original)and adapter ready for install

Had to throw in a little MOPAR for good luck (air cleaner top)

After the install and initial start up...TBI was "fun" not.

I have an 85 F250 that I picked up for $1,000 back in 2000. This is one stout truck but was very rusted since it was used by a contractor and had mud / sand packed under and in everything. HD everything which is great until I need to buy a part. Dana 61 in it! I've rebuilt the engine, a lot of new suspension and steering stuff, and did a body swap in 2009 / 2010. A few picks of the body swap below.

Well i was finally able to connect all the wiring on the 67 Nova and started testing circuits...
Made a bone head mistake... i couldny get the headlights or brake lights working. Fuse had power, ended up taking the dadh out, the light switch out about 5 times . I just could not figure it out. ended up unbolting the fuse block from the firewall to check terminations on the back. As soon as I did I noticed something I had missed...a damn little arrow pointing diagonally to the freaking empty fuse slot!!! @$%#... $#@^%%%!!!!! See top left yellow fuse.....Made me sick wasting 2-3 hrs chasing ghost...other wise a pretty good day...

Chasing a Ghost? Wasn't me......glad u found it. Say? Do u happen to know, or could u find out what the length of a 64 Nova front bumper is from the edge parallel to the fender side top of bumper inside edge to the other side same place?

I'm replacing the rear brake lines on my 2002 Ford 4x4 F 150. They are severely rotted from about the middle of the bed and backwards. All good under the cab. I'm waiting on the new lines to arrive from PartsGeek. I had to get a new axle vent as well. I expect to see them tomorrow.

Got my driver - 1966 Chevy II . . . keeps my head in the game and allows me to attend car shows and keep motivated . . .

Got the original 283 V-8 with 3 on the tree - fun little car to drive - swapped out front drums with disc, headers and new exhaust, electronic high output ignition, changed front bench to bucket seats . . .

Got a Heidt front end clip sitting in the shop waiting for the Belvedere to get completed ( then the Chevy II gets an upgrade ).

Engine - was thinking LS1 - but I'm now leaning toward building up the 283 and keeping this 3 on the tree ( don't see many 3 on the tree anymore ) . . .

Plenty of time for me to think on this project . . .
Hey, do you know anybody with a 64 Nova? I need the front bumper dimensions. How wide where the bumper wraps around the sides. Inside width. Ghost.

Lol! I was banging my head... I knew I did everything right but all of my t-shooting skills failed me but the powers of observation prevailed....(a little later than I would have liked)
I could tell you anything about a 66-67 but not a 64-65...sorry...

Ok, I thought that having one you might know other folks with one, or a forum where you could ask for me.

Just hauled in a 69 GTO (no pictures yet) Great body 400 4 speed car. Don't know why I bought it.

I have a buddy with one if you don't or didn't get the info let me know all ask him.

UGK, please ask him. Do you understand the measurement I need? I am asking because I want to know if it will fit the front of the Express. Or how much i'll need to add to it to make it fit. Width is the question. Thanks.
