The Edelbrock 1407 inlet is 5/8"-20. My new oem style steel fuel line has a male thread about 3/8"-20 and I can't find an adapter anywhere.

Anyone know the exact size I need and where to buy?

Thanks FBBO

aeroflow, speedflow, aeromotive, or try brake line shops as well

Hey Mechanic. Got your PM. The adaptor fitting was on the car when I got it, so no idea where it was bought from. Carb is an Eddy 1407 as well here's a couple of pics.

Ya, that looks correct. I looked on Edelbrock's website but couldn't find one. Good luck man.

I got one ordered at local Oreilly's and pick it up tomorrow (WED). Wish me luck.

The Edelbrock 8090 is 3/8 IF by 5/8-20 male. But, my fuel line fitting is 1/4 IF. So, the search continues.

find an auto parts tore that has a dorman hardware book or try a high end hardware store.either should be able to get what you need.i would give you a doorman # but the book is not organized well.you will have too search through it to find what you need.i thought the factory fuel lines were 5/16 not 1/4.

I ordered Dorman 55126 from RockAuto. It has two fittings for a 3/8" line, which is what I have. One of those should fit. Fingers crossed.

I wish I would have purchased the one with deep threads. As it is, half my fuel line nut sticks out but I think it will seal.
