what to buy for a car without rear end to get it to roll

anyone has any ideas on what to buy to make a car roll without rear to get home on a roll back wrecker truck,are there any caster wheels set ups?

Hey! That's a great idea. Probably any rear axle from a fwd would work, provided the width is there, right? Anything special about the minivan, or is it just something you've done before so you KNOW it'll work?

What kind of car? You might find an 8 1/4 that works at a yard. Might even find a 3.55 8 1/4 or SG/3.55/3.91 9 1/4.

If you need to put a rear in it anyway, why not just buy the correct rear and only buy one. If it is a parts car just fab up something to attach to the spring perches with some big casters. There are a lot of ways to fab something to get it rolling.
