I have a oil leak coming from this bolt on the oil pump and have no idea what's behind it if anything. I was assuming pressure relief spring?

That is a mounting bolt
see if you can source gaskets and and oring and re seal
as it could be either gasket leaking into the bolt hole

no, that's just one of the 4 mounting bolts to hold pump to block. I would say either the large o-ring between outer housing and main body is bad, or possible gasket between body & block....either way, pump has to come off

Perfect. One more leak to fix on this fresh rebuild. Thanks guys

I'd be looking further up for an oil leak. Not uncommon for oil to start from something like a valve cover and end up dripping from a low spot. Clean the area really well so you can find the oil trail.

Clean the area very well and blow dry. Puff some baby power on it and see where the oil wicks from. The only reason I could think that this bolt is leaking is it is too long and bottomed out.
