what's in your motor?

Mobil Delvac 15-40 with a bottle of zinc.

15w40 Rotella Diesel Oil........Supposed too have More Friction Modifiers Than Auto Spec Oil. Been Running That In A 4.0 Jeep Too With 130K Still Humminn Along!
AND Just Saw 5w40 Rotella Synthetic!!
Check It Out!!

The diesel oils used to have lots of zinc but even they have been cut back. Think in '07 is when most of the diesel oil when to CJ4 spec. Still better than other oils for gas cars. I run both Shell Rotella or Mobil Delvac, but still dump in some additive.

where do you get zinc additive and how much do you add to oil change..

Amsoil Signature 10-40. High zinc.

I keep it simple for street driving. Valvoline multi-weight oil off the self and a bottle of ZDDPlus additive to have more than enough protection.

I would use that in my Plymouth big block too---if I had one 8-).........................MO
