I was just wondering what kinds of cool automotive things folks have in their garages besides their cars. We see plenty of car pictures, but what else do you have?

Here are two things I have.
First, my fully functioning traffic light, yes its a real one, and it changes colors on a timer.

Second is a fully functional double parking meter that I restored about 7 years ago, they were selling them off for $35 bucks, and it came with a new sticker pack, so I stripped it down and restored it, originally it was this ugly grey color. I think it turned out pretty good.

That look cool for sure. I have parts ( body) of my old race cars hanging up. We race dirt cars.
My shop is a fab shop and not as pritty as yours ! To much stuff sitting around .

Those are cool, idrivemopar.

I don't know how cool it is, but I have a bald L60 tire hanging in the rafters from my '70 GTX from high school. Somehow I've hung on to that thing for over 30 years. Pathetic? Maybe. Pack Rat/Hoarder? Maybe a little. Mostly it was me hanging on to one thing from that car for the 25 years I went without having a cool old Mopar. Now I have my '64 - which isn't in my garage right now. It's asleep at my buddy's place for the winter.

I have a set of hedders

I have a set headers hanging on the wall

Sun 506

My Sun 506 distributor tester?
It works great for setting points and adjusting the advance curve.

I have a working real stop light also, along with a real working pedestrian crosswalk sign

Searched for this for a while. I use it for the fouled bike plugs. The hood is off my Challenger with a sticker I got from a member on FABO.

What does that thing do .. clean the plugs?

Allen synchrograph? They are just as good imo. Been wanting one forever.

I had a picture but now I can't find it. I'll get one next time I"m there to show it off. IIR it only has two gauges and is on a rolling pole type stand and body color is red. I also have an old grease drum on wheels and a parts washing bin .. gojo i think. Some day they'll look cool in the ship I think

Yes. It sand blasts, then blows air to clean up. Then you hit it with 110 volts and look through the window on the right there to see how good it is sparking. I remember using one in high school, you know back when we used to service things, not just replace them!

Have a Nash hubcap that we found half buried in our woods. On the buried part the chrome is like new, and the other half shows 50+ years of weathering.

Not in my garage but outside. This is my mailbox post. Took this pic when I finished attaching the header collectors together to mount the mailbox.

I have some old tin, Bud, GM Performance & MoPar signage packed away now from my last garage, Kenny Bernstein Bud King Dragster, Mike Dunn's MoPar Dragster & Dale Earnhardt Sr. NASCAR, an Bud Indycar among others... sorry no photos, I don't fell like digging them out right now... probably the coolest thing, other than my 68RR... is a mid 70's Boom Box Stereo for tunes, various collection of race parts for my cars, old construction related & fabrication tools & my over-full Mac Tool Box...

I use to have my brothers old 70's SUN Oscilloscope Diagnostic & C.A.R.B. Exhaust Sniffer Machine too, from his old service station Woody's in Antioch {had to close long story} got rid of it thou, it took up way too much room, it was like 6ft tall with the arm & 3ft thick & 5ft long, If my shop was built already I'd probably have kept it, it was fun to play with every once in a while... wasn't worth much $$$, but some guy came & got it, he'll do some house & deck/paint work for me latter, I hate painting.. I found some that are similar looking photos
