I have a guy that would like to trade this 63 440 for my 68 GTX. He said the car has the original 318, pushbutton auto, clean interior, no rust at all on the body sheet metal. One spot on the drivers side floorboard needs repaired, fuel gauge isn't working and has a cheap paint job right now. Its a clean looking car. Runs and drives good. I just don't know much about these cars. If there worth anything. Would it be worth it? My GTX runs and drives, but needs restored (rust usual areas, interior, etc..) Here are a few pics. What do you guys think? Thanks

Hard to say when determing values....

Lot of it depends on who wants it.
I'm currently doing a 1963 Polara.
I paid $2,500 for mine. VERY good condition.
Is that what it's worth?
NO
It depends on the Market.

These cars do not get the respect hey should be getting.
My apprasial of this car?
$7,500 minimum

But a 6-cyl 1969 Resto Mod Camaro rakes in $65K at Barrett-Jackson...

PS: You still have that 8 3/4" for sale?

That might not be a bad trade. The early hardtops, regardless of the engine, are increasing in value. Lots of guys are going from what I call the "me, too!" '68 - '70 B-bodies, and are appreciating the other fine cars that Mother Mopar produced, both earlier and later.

I just drove 1075 miles r/t to go look at this car, with all the cash and fully intent on buying it.........and I drove home without it.

Sorry to hear you wasted your time and $$$ ....why,what happened ??
