Colorado is about to ban the sale of all semi-automatics so it's now or never.

I guess I should ask about long guns too. I bought an AR last year and have never fired it. It's a Windham Weaponry. That guy that made Bushmaster sold the company then Bushmasters went downhill hard. After the noncompete clause expired he started making Windhams as a much better quality product. I think I paid about $500 on sale.

I'm buying a Stainless Taurus 92. 17+1. I have to have the mag pinned at 15 per Colorado law. You probably know the story. Beretta left the tooling in Brazil I think. Taurus took it over and made exact copies of the much more expensive 92 model. I always thought they were a cool looking pistol.

And it's guaranteed for life.
That's all I can think of.

leave an avenue open in that bill to allow someone to still buy an AR by taking weeks and weeks of training and welding, solder or epoxy the magazine to the lower receiver. Which would basically, short of partial dissassembly, convert it to a single shot rifle, and a rather clumsy one at that. :realcrazy:

My favorite is my grandpa's JC Higgens model 88 , 9 shot double action .22 revolver.
Little over 5" bbl, I think high standard built them for sears.
Fixed sights.
 
I have a good all around revolver. It's a S&W 357 Magnum model 19 Police revolver. Revolvers don't leave shell casings. Lol
 
I'm also partial to revolvers. I'm left handed so 1911's don't work well for me. I have a few autos but I appreciate the feel of the mechanics of a revolver.
 
My Springfield XD9 with a 4" barrel, extremely reliable and accurate, has offset clip can hold 16 rounds and one in the pipe and the clip is still flush at the bottom of the handle and not extra wide grip.

Every (non-revolver) semiautomatic I have, uses a magazine. Three syllables are too much? Call it a mag...

Just don't call it a "clip".

Please, use the correct term. It's no wonder anti-gunners think we're a bunch of worthless rednecks....

My main handgun is a Glock 17, but my absolute favorites are my WWII German Luger and Govt. 45.

Sort of a tie between my Makarov 9x18 and my 92FS Baretta. Makarov is light and very accurate but is limited to 8 or 10 rounds depending on if it is an extended magazine. I took my ccw permit training at the police academy with it and it was quite informative and very fun. It was before the stand your ground law was passed in Ohio. I need to go get my permit again, but the requirements have pretty much been gutted now so it's much easier. I had to fire 200 rounds to qualify.
