Google always gets me the same 3: ebay, Jegs, and TCI. There has to be other online vendors. Any suggestions?

I just want something that's been built to stock specs or mildly upgraded and warrantied.

I just want something that's been built and warrantied and I can drop into place.
These guys are the real deal, mopar guys that race mopar's Only, in house machine shop so they make all of the billet trans parts in house !! I just ordered a light weight Trans to hold 950~1000 HP, Plus in Socal !!

727 specialist is a good one, I used one on my last motor. Stock type with a 2800 stall and a shift kit for around $900 I think. We actually wrecked the first one when we blew the first motor and Keith (727 specialist) swapped us out another one for no charge.

I’m sure someone else will chime in, but do it yourself. ‘dvw’ & others come on. It really is not hard.

It genuinely isn’t that difficult to r&r your own 727. Takes a couple of small “specialty” tools, but they’re cheap and easy.

If you are good at following directions, and have a rebuild manual, you’ll do fine. The hardest part of a trans job is getting it in and out, and that’s jusg because it’s heavy and hard to see/reach some bolts.

I was happy with my TCI on my 440,next car I had a friend build it . $900 is cheap if your buying one.Cheaper if you do it yourself. good luck

Yea I managed to pull the transmission off myself since it's only a wee lil 904. I was in the middle of rebuilding it and I jammed the rear servo piston badly. Really badly.

I just got got done purchasing a mild rebuild with a shift kit for $900 w/ free shipping and they're offering $250 for the core. I'm just happy I managed to save myself around $500 by doing the drop & install (hopefully) myself. Thanks for the suggestions all.

I'll second Pro-Tans. They are 10 minutes from my house and I've spent a bunch of time talking to them about their builds and my needs. I've had them go through my 727 that I road race with, and they have my 904 for my street Challenger. Prices are very reasonable for stock stuff and the sky is the limit for custom. FYI - they are moving to Texas at the end of the year. Getting the heck out of Taxifornia. I'm jealous.
