Im doing a 413 with allum heads, flat tops and grx cam. Whats the best carb systym? 2- 500 cfm carters on cast intake, long rams, or one avs??

Not sure if you care about originality but personally I'd run an Edelbrock dual plane air gap with a 750cfm Mighty Demon - I have a 418 cu in small block making 502 hp and 522 ft pds of torque with 10 to 1 comp and it's very driveable - Good Luck with whatever you decide upon...

In a 64 Fury you gotta go max wedge

Two carbs = twice as much trouble. But they do look awesome.

Strange I never had any trouble tuning or otherwise,a lot depends on the choice of carbs.

stay with an edelbrock package and there won't be any problems. a 385hp-413 sounds cool!

Show and go,
They look natural under old B Bodies

In the early 80's I ran consistent 10.68 with 2 Holley 750 DP TR carbs on a Weiand tunnel ram on top of a 440. All you have to do is follow the basics when tuning and they were trouble free from then on....but imo, I'm not a fan of 2 carbs on mild street engines with low profile intakes unless the carbs are pretty small. The 6 pack set up imo, is the way to go. They look good and work very well on the low profile type intakes. I've seen very few guys pulling it off well with the 2x4 street setup
