Old guy tip: If you're going to take apart a carburetor or anything else with a lot of small springs and parts, it's a good idea to put down a white towel on your bench first so the parts don't 'walk' away when you're not looking. I debated about posting this, but figure that if it helps one person not to have to crawl around on the garage floor looking for that needle, spring, ball check valve or other part, I've done a service to our community.

Here is another trick to try. Can be done in situ in a few minutes, whether you have bogging...or you just want to see if acceleration is better.
Reduce the WOT opening of the sec t/blades. This changes airflow AND distribution.
On the rt side of the carb, the tang on the sec shaft hits a protrusion on the body @ WOT. There is a link connecting the pri & sec shafts. Remove the link & bend it so that you have a 1/10"-1/8" gap at WOT between the tang & the protrusion.
