...Works for me...
Well, without getting whiney-if I ever do guys, tell me to STFU-I've got some serious crap going on. More than I had expected. But...that's not why we're here. When the feces hits the fan,a road trip is in order. In this case,it was a trip to my buds at Mancini Racing. Wanted to match up the stainless valves that came with my lone Stage V head;also needed some other goodies. After getting Outlaw525's intake sent off(he bought my Indy intake-thanks),I hit the madness that is I-75 and then M-59. You Detroit guys know what I speak of;howindahell do you guys do it more than I do and not lose your mind? Since I haven't been down there in about a year,I had to hit the memory banks to get there. Missed a couple of turns, but made it. And purchased...
Nice new Mancini stainless 2.14"/1.81" valves, some steel retainers and 10 degree locks. Ain't they purdy? Functional, too. Also took my used Comp Cams XE274(274/268,230/[email protected]",.488"/.491") cam for an opinion on its goodness, and they said it looked just fine, and that I had made a good choice for what I want to build. I LIKE hearing stuff like that! Took my mind off the other crap for a bit-and the time and money spent was worth every bit.
Buying parts for your Mopar as therapy? Sounds good to me!
