I have to agree!! He knows how to make it fun to own one of these old cars!! I have always said, my goal is to wear it out. Just got mine back from a check up, electrical. Ignition switch went out. The 'good' mileage runs are a 100 mile, one way trip to Willits while exerting the UTMOST restraint with the go pedal= drive like an exceedingly cautious granny. I get about 7-8 mpg on the way home because of the frequent bursts of exuberance. On ramps, passing lanes & etc.14 and a quarter is pretty good in mixed driving with some fast starts.
You seem to have a habit of meticulous documentation.
Is your drivetrain combo documented somewhere?
