Where did you and your car go today

Charger and I actually ventured outside together for once. I saw this stupidity and turned right around and went back home...

That's such a great looking car.

I'll admit...I used to not care much for the browns/bronzes/coppers that many of the old cars came painted with.
Over the last handful of years though I've really grown fond of them and yours is one of the best!

Beautiful shot over the hood of some really beautiful scenery!!

Yesterday it was going to start raining so headed out early.
I went all over 'the place' looking for a couple of items that should've been where I looked first.
The turkey is back in Calistoga now, it was AWOL for Thanksgiving. Probably hiding...
So I snuck up on it.

(Sidewalk says "No Bicycles"- didn't mention Chargers)

No people at the Tourist sign so stopped there as well.

The Eastern hill is fried from stem to stern. About 10 miles or so in each direction from here.

Some guys looked up when I departed a stop light in St. Helena.

Junkyard with the wife! She loves it as much as I do! She’s a keeper for sure!

I took a trip to the nearest ethanol free gas station and filled her up for the winter storage. They're talking 30*s next week and it's just a matter of time before they coat the roads with chemicals.

89 octane $3.49
92 octane $3.99

Edit: Calling for 1 to 2 inches Monday.
Calling for 8 to 10 inches Wednesday.

I guess she'll be in storage for awhile now :(

Took Cora to the city yesterday to visit an old friend. He had cars moved out front for me to park. People working there and customers all came out to see a car many had never seen before and for some it was a trip down memory lane. People taking pictures and having their picture taken with her is fun to watch. That's the best thing about these cars, it's about them, not me, I just stand back and watch.
Leaving was entertaining, 85 mph to keep up with rush hour traffic in some spots. People just stared and smiled at this old man and old car pushing thru traffic. 85 mph is about two thousand rpm and she's not even working. It's a blast to drive and no one leaves this car in the dust. It was a good day for both of us!!!

After tinkering and tuning, I went out for a quick test drive and made it almost all the way back to the house before I ran out of gas!:cursin:

Now that sounds like my kind of luck!!!

Went to check on the new house and stopped for dinner.
