Went for a cruise today, I go weekly, but today I took a few pictures. This is the most beautiful fire station I have ever seen. I've been going by it for years and today I finally stopped in. Here's a bit of history. July 25, 1918: The first paid, full-time fire department in Kirkwood went on duty. A volunteer bucket brigade had served the City beginning in 1853. A volunteer fire company was established after a huge fire wiped out the City armory on April 30, 1904, while most of the citizens were attending opening day a the World's Fair.
Stopped by Lowe's to pickup Brad's for my nail gun. Finishing my last project, the downstairs bathroom, a total gut job. I'm moving back to our home town after my new home gets built and after we get settled in I'll sell this one. The one we're in now was supposed to be our last move, thankfully I never leave myself in a situation that I can't make money. My wife really missed our old neighborhood so her, my daughter and a designer are hard at it building her a place they will carry me out of. 8th and last home that I've lived in, plus those I've flipped, I'm done. I'm sick of chasing the money, money I don't need, a final place to hang my hat is my main priority now.
