In effort to getting this suspension project done we are posting on a couple boards hoping someone can help us out. We bought some Hotckis front fox shocks (70020013). Well we went to put them in last night and noticed that the bushing that connects to the lower control arm is offset. There was no instructions in the box nor on the website. So we have no idea which way it's supposed to go. If anyone can help shed some light it would be greatly appreciated. We are using QA1 LCAs and this is going on a 70 Charger. So with the suspension all lose it appears that it could go in either way without much of a concern, but we want to make sure before we ruin another part. :)

Thanks!

2Luke2,

Long story short the orientation does not matter. I had the same question with my install, rears first, in 12 degree weather.

Dan@Hotchkis replied to a thread I had over on moparts: "...They are a tight fit so ensure that your mounting stud is clean and super shiny, and lubricate with a good silicone grease. The little bit of "offset" in the bushing is just the bushing not being centered in the shock body. Just press it in a bit more so it is centered."

Hope this helps.
