Which gear ratio

I have read that the 67 GTX 440 came with 2.89 and an option to 3.23, and the Hemi came with 3.23 with an optional 3.55..

Standard gear ratio with 8 3/4" rear end in 440 automatic cars was 2 .94; option was 3.23, which the majority got. The 4-speed cars, 440 or Hemi, all got 3.54 in a Dana 60 as standard equipment. There was no optional ratio in the Dana in 1967. 8 3/4" was standard equipment in both 440 and Hemi automatic cars. 2.94 ratio was not available for 8 3/4" automatic, when powered with Hemi. The Dana 60 was optional in Hemi cars equipped with automatic. So, 2.94, 3.23, or 3.54 were available in 1967 GTX, depending on engine and transmission.

I remember when we ordered one new and there were only 3.23 or 2.94 on auto.
Suregrip was optional = I think only about $50.
I "think" 3:23 was standard and 2:94 was a no cost option.
My 67 Hemi 4 Speed had a 3:54 and there were no other options.
Suregrip was standard on all Dana 60 Cars as well as Dual Point Dist. even
on 440 cars equipped with 4 speeds. .
My 67 came with 3.23s, but it is not on the window sticker as an option, so I assumed it was standard. The sure-grip was a $37.60 option
