We should know more by early tomorrow...rip Whitney.

What an absolute loss, an article read that she was attending a party at a club in LA had been drinking and was a little obnoxious, there was an unsunstaniated report upon exiting the club after getting into with a few workers there, she left the club bleeding from the left leg, so as Cranky said we'll know more tomorrow..
It's such a shame to see artists of this calibur leave this place in such away...
R.I.P. Whitney we will all remember you as an artist....

Last time she was on TV, she looked bad. I actually thought to myself, that she was on the way out. Too bad, she was pretty and talented. Never understood her relationship with Brown, he always seemed to come of an an ***, and she was usually nice.
I guess lots of nice girls stay with asses for whatever reason.

drugs an alcohol will ruin any life no matter who it is. she was one of the very best entertainers in the world and the road to ruin was quick.. It was all about the drugs and alcohol with her and Bobby. I am 48.... way to young to be chekcing out
The list of artists who die before their time from drugs and or alcohol is amazing but its doesnt stop it from happening....
RIP Whitney...

I agree. Her life went down the toilet after she hooked up with Bobby Brown. Like I always told my kids... "You need to make wise decisions, because you'll have to live with the consequences of those decisions for the rest of your life."

Too bad, so sad, RIP Whitney... what a waste of a life, I'm sure lots of illegal drugs, maybe even RX drugs & alcohol contributed to her early death in some way, she was in & out of rehab, with that looser wife beater of a husband she had, 48 is way too young to die, it will be interesting to see what the actual cause of death will be....

People make choices. She made lousy choices.

48 is young but there is no guarantee in life ( ESPECIALLY WITH AN ADDICTION ). My wife lost both her parents before she hit 40 years old. Life is short. Enjoy it while you can. God bless W.H.

Houston. John Belushi. Heath Ledger. Jimi Hendrix. Janis Joplin. Amy Winehouse. The list goes on. On one hand, I feel sorry for them because the spotlight may have hastened their end. On the other hand, they did it to themselves.

Sad. You cant save people from themselves. Throw in an 'entourage', that is employed to keep you "happy", and you have a group that will NOT look out out for your best interests. They will only enable you, to endear themselves, to your good graces! Whitney has been the subject of many "dead-pools" lately. I honestly cant say I am surprised. Loss of a great talent.

Ain't that the truth! If someone can come up with an answer to that issue they should get a Nobel Prize.

its too bad that the media and the public dont recognize the men and women we have lost and continue to lose defending our country the way they do the crackheads and alcoholics that have chosen the life of addiction and horrible lifestyles.

Correct. Flags lowered in Jersey. Shame on them. This is not a hero. A school named after her. Shame.

I've had more than a couple people share a picture of flag-draped coffins with the heading "WHITNEY WHO?". A little callous, maybe. And somewhat jaded, but so is making heroes out of entertainers.
I'm sure some of you have seen it, maybe someone with more skeels can post it up here. I would have posted it without comment if my phone wouldve let me.

I was gonna make a soapbox comment about "Role Models" and their resposibilties. Haven't had my coffee, so you folks can fill in the blanks.
