Who has my old 69 R/T S/E Charger?

Originally light yellow stripe delete car and not in nice shape when I had it. I sold it back in 97 or so to some pot heads in LA then they flipped it to some guy in Fairfield, CA. I've been kicking myself in the *** ever since!!! I just stumbled across an old reg slip with the VIN on it and would be interesting if it turns up. XS29L9B264772.

You might want to check with Chris at the 69 Charger registry to see if it's popped up anywhere.

no sorry i dont ! had my R/T SE since 89
but would love to see any pictures !! what color top & interior was it ? there is a couple of guys with originaly Y2 paint cars on dodgecharger dot com , but are not yellow any more ! Chris & his Awesome registry has prolly got them on record though

It was pretty rough when I had it and the top was peeled off, but I think it was black. The interior was black too. Floor shift auto, 6 way seat and A/C.

So the chances of me buying it back from the current owner for $5K are pretty slim but at least it’s not rusting away somewhere. Unfortunately this build leaves one less numbers matching RT/SE Charger for the world to remember and enjoy, but at least it has been saved from the substance that never sleeps – or worse – a General Lee stunt car. The right hand drive part should have been left where they do right hand drive otherwise I think it looks good. I heard it’s available in a die cast model so I guess I could get it back – sort of.

I also spoke to the guy the other day and he caught me up on the last 14 yrs or so. I told him I want it back but the way it was :rolling:

One more interesting bit of info is it recently went to LA for filming in the new Green Hornet movie. He says there's a 90% chance it will be in the movie as a cameo shot next to the Chrysler. That's cameo not Camaro :tongueflap:
