My "Bud" Steve "Hooter" Rainey just flew the PISS out of one of our F-22s here at Edwards AFB
0930 take off, flew for .8 hours
Performed a little Air Show for us all
1. Max afterburner take off
2. Cleared to FL 10K
3. Climbed to 60,000
4. Fell back
5. Mach 1.5+ (Great sonic boom)
6. Another set of maneuvers only the F-22 can perform (Stalls, Fall backs, Flip overs, Hover, etc)
7. Another sonic boom
Land time in the chocks 1039 PST
And, get this:
He flew his Dad's Flag and DD214 papers and Korean War pics (NAVY, radio-man) for a surprise Flag presentation for his Dad's 82nd Birthday
