What a shame. DEA busted Her with a load of weed in 1975, put the black paint job on & used Her to chase down smugglers, after a year, found the operating costs too high, went into storage in 1975 in Dallas, went from there to two more fields, was privately bought & was being moved by skycrane heli & they fubar-ed the hoist, improper structural load & rendered the A/C un airworthy & Bird was scrapped.
I rode on a 350 in 68....truly an unforgettable experience,,,a VERY fast airplane.
