Guess I'm wrong about that. My Grandparents, whom I never met, got into & owned a flying service from early on. I quoted what my Family has told me, apparently incorrect info. My bad.

Sheesh, I'm wrong about Harriet Quimby being 1st in world. That is a French Woman named Ramonde de Laroche. She did it March 8th, 1910. 7 other French Woman got Their tickets within next Year.
