2nd licensed Female pilot in USA was my Grandmother.

Sheesh, I'm wrong about Harriet Quimby being 1st in world. That is a French Woman named Ramonde de Laroche. She did it March 8th, 1910. 7 other French Woman got Their tickets within next Year.

Harriet Quimby was still the first in the USA though.
And true that Ramonde de Laroche got the first pilot licence, however Madame Therese Peltier was the first woman to solo a plane, but without a license, in 1908.
