Too few and too late to do much good for the Germans, the Arado 234 was a speedy jet bomber, around 460 mph. Several of them were used for reconnaissance, fitted with cameras instead of bombs. The twin engine versions used the same Jumo 004 that powered the ME-262, while the 234c variant had four BMW jet engines to free up Jumo production for the Messerschmidt.
A sleek design even by today's standards.
