My Grandfather worked as an engineer during WW2 at Wright Patterson AFB, and after the war he worked at General Dynamics in Ft Worth until he retired in 1985. Among several mementos, he was given the cabin pressure gauge from the overhead Los Angeles to overhead New York; one aerial refueling attempt speed record of the B-58 Hustler. He worked on the cockpit design and other mechanical aspects of the project.
