Supersonic private jet! Although Bombardier has stopped building the Learjet (see post #11220) they still manufacture other business jets. The Global 7500 is one of their entries in the luxury field to compete with Gulfstream and has been in service since 2018.

As verified by a Nasa F-18 chase plane, the Global 7500 has gone supersonic on repeated occasions, reaching Mach 1.015 during testing.

Still in development and slated for market entry in 2025 is the Global 8000 which will be the world's fastest and longest range business jet, with a 9200 mile range.
