@Basket case, YOU LUCK DOG!!! LOVE the Merlin-Packard/Merlin-Rolls Royce engine, the sound of those are just as good as a B/RB with glasspacks.

Merlins are sweet...but give me a P&W R2800. That was back when the Air Force Museum would let you go in the planes, now there are "Do Not Touch " signs all over the place.

Seems like a Martin-Baker problem. Not only the F-35, but many F-18 Hornets and Super Hornets, T-45 Goshawks, F-5 Tiger II trainers, T-38 Talons and T-6 Texan II have also been grounded due to the same problem with ejection seat cartridges. As each aircraft has been inspected, they've been allowed to continue operations. The decision to ground the entire F-35 fleet was to speed things up to get the inspections done quickly.
