The Abbotsford airport is a few minutes' drive from my place. Build during WWII to strengthen Pacific defences, it is often used these days as an alternate if Vancouver (YVR) has a problem. The Abbotsford Airshow is a popular summer attraction. But during the war it was used as an airforce training base. These B-25 Mitchell's were on the ramp around 1944, part of the No. 5 Operational Training Unit.
