i have about 300h in a Hunter T7, the side by side trainer. Lovely old lady. I evaluated the F-16XL vs the Strike Eagle. F-15 won, based on load and range.

The Yak-110 is fascinating. When I learned about the -55 I saw an interview with a guy who said "It will never be surpassed because the Communists were willing to spend any amount of money on exotic metals to get a propaganda machine." Then I watched an interview with the -110 owner who said the -55's were sitting around in hangers because they were outdated tech and serious acrobatic pilots didn't want to fly them - so why not stick two together for fun?

They may have HAD to spend a lot of money doing revisions, as the Soviet pilots rejected the first versions and stuck to the older Yak-50.
