Regular street tire, drag radial, slick? What kind of tire do you want? Aspect ratio?
Nitto, Hoosier, and mickey make a 325/50x15, but all three are basically a street race tire.
Ok sorry. I could have done a much better job of asking that question!
What I want is a regular street tire. The Mickey Thompson would work but I really don't care for the tread pattern. I want a lot of side wall but am flexible on aspect ratio.
Coker makes a copy of the old protrac tire that's pretty big and tall. I haven't looked up the specs on it. Its for sure a street tire.
If it's anything like the old protracs, a kid on a scooter could spin em.
Outrageously priced however, if I remember right. ($500 ea?)
Of the three I mentioned above, I think the nitto would be the closest to a "street" tire. The protrac/Coker is probably gonna need a full tub and narrowed frame rails to fit. With just moved springs and a mini tub, I think I'd go for the 325. But I can get 16x33s on my car.
