Who makes a good tubular upper control arm for a 69 coronet? This car will be 90% streetcar with some dragstrip time thrown in for good measure. With it being a streetcar, spherical rod ends are probably not the best choice.

What is y'all's experience, thought?

Thanks!

I've installed the ones from PST & also the Heim joint types. I can unequivocally say I prefer the PST arms ! So much so, I installed them on my own car.

I used Just Suspensions tubular A arms, poly bushings. Don't forget to get the correct bumpers, the originals won't contact the tubes correctly (correct ones are octagon and bigger around).

Magnumforce.com make a really good one, i run them with there chromoly k member.
there UCA's are chromoly too, the drag car stuff so it is very unlikely they will break

and dont worry about the spherical ends, my whole front end anr rear 4 link is all metal to metal, and it is the comfiest car i have ever driven, i was truly amazed

I run hotchkis arms on mine but they are pricey and use heim joints. I like the heim joints cause they are adjustable but they do wear out quicker. QA1 just came out with some new ones that don't use heim joints and work perfectly with street cars. Firm-Feel also makes a great product.

I would check out the QA1 arms. They look like a great product.

I run hotchkis, but if I had to buy one with poly bushings, I'd by firm feel.

I have Firm Feel for my 71

Thanks for all the input.

I'm looking closely at the Firm Feel uca's.

Pst is not looking bad since there is no shipping and FBBO members get 10% off...

I used CAP uppers but did not trust the welds so I made a plate to tie the arms and ball joint together. It worked out just fine, but if I was to do it again, I would use FF.

most are about the same.pst is the best bang for the buck, plus they are a site sponsor.

Just a little bit about our arms, this may sway some of you. They are manufactured in the USA is that helps.

Thanks
James

I just installed the QA1 uppers last week and so far so good. Caster adjustments from 2* to 4*. Seems to be good.

I bought some nice pieces off of a guy that fabs them on e bay. Under 3 bills and really nice. Check out mopargorrillagarage. He also fabs heim end strut rods that are very sweet. Like 150 bucks for the pair.

Magnum force holier than thou. Overpriced. And I am local to them. PST or Hotchkis.

Can the Magnum Force double adjustment tubular control arm correct an alignment issue?

I am almost finished with a 5 year Restoration. I brought the car to the alignment shop. He told me tat he can not get the castor on one side. He said that something is slightly off on the front end. Most likely when the body guy welded and straightened the passenger front frame rail he didn't not get the measurement right.
I was told he could use the Moog offset bushings to get me to fall within spec.

I am wondering if the double adjustment tubular control arms from Magnum Force would be a better alternative.
i think they would give me more adjustability as well as better drivability since I am running modern 18" wheels with radial tires.
Would this solve the problem? Does anyone recommend one of the control arms that would be good in a situation like this? I am trying to avoid taking apart the entire nose of my car.

Found the Moog offset bushings. Also, found these adjustable tubular control arms.
I think they might be a very good option for us as they say that they increase adjustability of alignment,

There are many different companies making these.
A few that stood out to me were:

I have installed the QA1 upper and lower tubular control arms on my '65, as well as their Dynamic strut rod. Huge difference and I really like them.
