I've tried doing a search and have concluded that I need a guru.

Thanks,
Buck

Post a pic and we'll do what we can. Please let us know at which plant the car was built.

I know you are trying to be helpful but the first and second link are for the later style tags and do not help with a 64.
The third one gives no help as to a decode.

Pre 65 tags are a different animal and have to be decoded by plant. Generic on line decoders are rarely helpful for these tags.

I used to hang out at "1962 to 1965 Mopar or no car" website. They specialize in 62 to 65 b bodies, and I saw a 64 fender tag decoded there once years ago. Maybe get some help there. Unfortunantly, there is no forum, everything goes through an e mail list.

Here is my fender tag for the 1964 Fury Convert.

Thank you all for the responses. The car was made in Detroit. Please see picture.

Top row:

two digit Gate number and three digit Base number. Related to building the body in white and indicate the car was built at the Lynch Road plant.

Bottom Row: 1812 second part of the Sales Order number. The first part is the Scheduled production date of 323. As stated above; scheduled for March 23rd (1964)

Much thanks

Thanks everyone. I'm new to the site and have a bit of trouble navigating. If I inadvertently neglected to thank all the great folks here, I apologize. Thank you all again.
