Why Do You Love Cars?

For me its freedom experienced in youth. just cruising / racing with friends BS ing and having fun in simpler times. When I did my first real rebuild of a car, a 63 olds F85 drop top I got in it with friends and turned up the oldies, thumbs up. Since retiring and being in the states I wanted some of the mopars I used to own back for basically the same thing. Mopars were always number one, Theres a real satisfying feeling cruising in something you build. Yea shiney, chrome go fasters

Don't give up. I'd like to have a bunch of pristine show cars of my choosing, but just having something to drive is nice.

I bought my GTX in 1979 and still have it, it was a daily driver for me back then and that's it, but after a while it grew on me and I came to the realization that it was a keeper. I think it's kinda like therapy, driving and working on these cars, I have other hobbies but this one overloads all of your senses like no other, it moves me.
I remember telling my friends 30 years ago that I'l be banging gears in this thing when I"m a old man, well it's getting close.
