This is not mine but my best friend's who passed away a year and a half ago.
He had dropped it out to put a square tube K fame, rack and pinion and coil-over in. He got it bolted down and suffered a massive coronary.

How many have you seen like this?

She's bone stock, but clean!!! I know the heater hose bracket is for a 69, but i like that design better!!! :tongueflap:

I have a 69 satellite im possibly making a runner clone out of and contemplating that color,where are you from in illinois?Im in Hammond IN.If u built that car just curious if some of your skills are for sale??

Hi Ben!! Glad i could help!! I wish I had those kind of skills!! i'm still learnin'!! :blush: she came to me pretty much as is, unmolested, mostly original from what i can tell.

The color is QQ1, it did have one re-spray, i'd say about ten years ago, but they stayed pretty true to the original color. QQ1 is a little darker than B5 I believe.

My GTX is pretty much done except for little odds and ends that i'm working on... maybe in a few years, if i can afford it, i'm going to get another b-body and restore it. I figured i would get a finished one first, that i can drive right away, then find one i can restore over time...the best of both worlds!!! :grin:

Im still learning to,And this is my first project,that qq1 color is nice as hell! Im contemplating B5 for the satellite,hopefully mine will be done by time june or july comes around I got lucky enough to get a supposed rebuilt 440 magnum and once I know that she runs right,its gonna go in the satellite,If it doesnt run right,then I dont know how long it will take,If your ever out in northwest Indiana hit me up hope to see your gtx at some car shows this year and maybe my satellite will be parked next to your gtx this year at one,take it easy Mopar or Nocar!
