Wiper ground .

Well since finding out my tach was only a clock ;one more Elc Question I have a 5 inch ground wire off of one wiper studs must ground the wiper motor any idea were this is surpose to go ? Thanks just trying to get the last few things working our DMV is still closed trying to get ready for when ever they open up .

The wiper motor is grounded with a copper strap can you post a pic of the ground wire you speak of?

In this picture you an see the bare copper grounding strap. It comes from the flat head screw and goes to one of the mounting bolts. This is the grounding for the wiper motor. Shown is a 3-speed wiper motor. 2-speeds are a tad different.

Here is a 2 speed wiper motor installed. Note at the very top the same copper ground strap.
