I have a '67 Charger and the wiper blades move really slow. I turn the knob to the next speed up (two speed wipers) and moves the same. Am I needing to replace the motor? Or maybe just needs joints cleaned and relubed?

Is it possible to upgrade to a three speed just by replacing the motor and switch?

I bought a new wiper motor, and bashed the old rusty unit with a big hammer. The connecting pieces can get hard to move, and the ground may be insufficient.
Meanwhile I would like to know how to make the slow speed, a lot slower. My new motor is a 2 speed, same as the old rusty banged up old one, when it worked, likely last century.

Just bolting in the wiper motor again. Removed to make room for the 318 extraction. The nut that connects the arms, is 10mm. Not 3/8 or 7/16. Probably made in Asia somewhere.
