I am having issues with my wipers. I have a two speed wiper switch that goes from off to low and high settings. The high setting seems to work fine but every now and then will stop on its own. The low setting does not work at all and I has a clicking sound coming from the switch itself. I removed the switch and installed a second I had in storage and the same thing happens. The wires that go into the switch under the dash seem ok, but have not traced all the way. Any ideas on what could be the issues?

A possibility would be a bad contact inside the switch. A shot of electrical contact cleaner may do the trick.

What you are hearing is the circuit breaker that is inside the switch doing its job.

You have something going on with the wiring or motor.

Usually mounted on the motor. Just a suggestion, and check all of the wiring .
