Supertech for my Kawasaki was always one of the best filters in testing and far cheaper than the Kawi
No, given the critical nature of its job.Is the Wix that costly?
Agreed. With the history of low miles and taking into consideration the "duty cycle/severity of service useage" I only change my oil and filter 3 times a year max.How much "coin" is being saved??....A few dollars?? To me, the cost savings is insignificant.
...unless spell-check or auto correct/auto complete is the culprit..I would rather have the "piece of mind knowledge" knowing my filters are up to the task.
No, given the critical nature of its job.
Just "conversation"...

If I get to put in a LOT more track time, which I hope to do, that will change.
Once I get my 541 aluminum block stroker built, it will all change again.

I'm surprised that you would misuse or misspell this:
...unless spell-check or auto correct/auto complete is the culprit.
Your posts, which I enjoy, quoted post inclusive, are so "precise"...
But are they designed and fabricated to the same specs? In terms of filtration (micron rating), flow capacity (GPM), burst pressure rating and bypass valve setting. Sometimes, just because a name brand is the manufacturer, it does not mean an identical set of specs. What is the price difference? It would be nice to know the comparison criteria.....one does not decide on price alone....at least I do not.....
