Women that wears the 'holy' jeans and crappy looking shoes....I don't get it when....

Question is: would you prefer a woman who dresses in the style of the day with a youthful appearance OR one who wears her hair and clothing like Granny - Beverly hillbillies. In my youth, senior women looked just like that. Today, many elderly women look and dress fashionable... if yours is one... embrace her.

Best comment of the day and a whole lot of common sense.
My wife dresses like a hottie, age appropriate and more than tasteful and turns heads. Certain clothes fit deferent personalities. If it fits, wear it.

If you're 5x5, Lawrence tent and awning are having a sale.

They carry a Michael Kors bag or one even more expensive. Yup, da wife, 72 and still acting like a teenager but if anyone can pull it off, it's her.
Just makes me laugh....
I have 2-3 pairs of INSULATED jeans that have big holes in the outside but not into the insulated part. I defiantly wont wear jeans with holes, a quarter or dime size is ok for working in.

It's the slob look to me,
I never did get it, even with a very attractive woman wearing them...
I throw them away after they get holes or slits in them, junk
I used to not get it but these days it doesn't bother me.....in fact the only thing that bothers me now is when I can't find something in the house or shop lol
I’m frugal, and wore stuff like that to save money when I was hauling hazardous waste, nobody cared what I looked like, I was an elite with all my teeth. My wife trashed all those jeans when I retired, said they weren’t fit for donation.
I'n frugal too and always have been. I'm wearing a pair of work pants from work right now and I retired in 06. The X hated for me to go out in 'public' because she didn't like them. She wore jeans most of the time but they were just 'control freak' jeans lol
I told Dubb my head gets cold and he made me this!

embrace her.
I do!
IRON ON PATCHES! Working mans best friend.
Oh man, I went through that stuff as a kid. Mom would even stitch them in after ironing them on and even that didn't work for long.

You really got to apply the heat and pressure if you want them to stay put.
The wife wears them holey jeans. Her biggest problem with them is me picking at the strings.

And she makes me laugh....
Embrace it, you're lucky.

Got on some right now, you can see the flannel lining through the rips

I keep wearing increasingly tattered clothes until some stranger buys me a meal or law enforcement drives me over to a Goodwill store for freebies.

Poor girl can't even afford a belt.

Now if they look like that & can pull it off (the look)
I'm all for it

I grew up with 5 sisters, 2 older & 3 younger,
that grew up in the later 60s (when they found style) & early to mid 70s
when they came of age, you know what that style was,
borderline hippies ****, rags or shirts tied around the waist, tube tops,
halter tops, corduroys/bellbottoms, or hip huggers wide belts, shirts showing belly buttons
occasionally holes (from hand-me-downs) in big ol' dungarees jeans/bellbottom jeans
I was around that crap a lot,
if you have the build, slim or shapely & not a fat ***
& can pull it off, a few slits in a pair of jeans is no big deal
but when it got to the point 'they tear', my mom would draw the line at that point
they got trashed

I was in that same boat, my kid isn't going out looking like trash, period

I raised 4 girls, mostly on my own after the oldest was 11y/o
it's hard to put any of them in one style, they were well developed
& could wear most anything, their mom Lisa, was a lot like the girl above
but she was a tight denim jeans girl, roper boots, nice western top, wide belt & big buckle
Barrel Racer/Reiner roper, she looked hot as hell as a cowgirl
& could pull off the summer flower dress
or lil' sexy black dress too, with the 4" pumps

the girls wanted to be more stylish, sort of their own style
that stuff is expensive I may add, but once they got a bunch of holes,
they can't wear them
gotta' draw the line somewhere, raised them right/well,
not to be 'too slutty', not give away the goods too early, make the guy work for it a lil'
at a min.
