yep it would sure as hell piss me off. But you'd sure as hell piss him off if you sold the car to someone else for 2k. even if it was just a fake sale. since word seems to get around. he's sure to find out.

Sorry for your experience. You were just trying to take the high-road, and opening your land to folks that you hope appreciate it. Then you get kicked in the balls by some ***-clown. Sorry, but don't let it change who you are. If he ruins it for other folks, then he wins. Be the good Christian, but don't be a pushover. How 'bout you get a man-shaped range target, blow some double-00 through it, and then place that on top of the 300C?

You bet your *** this would piss me off. I'm 3000 miles away and I'm pissed. That being said, I'm hoping that you will take the time to cool down and decide on a plan. Time is on your side now and paybacks can be very satisfying. I've taken care of problems like this before and maybe the object of my lesson isn't smart enough to figure out why their luck turned so bad. I hope they learn something but sometimes the really stupid ones just can't figure it out.

Personally I'd hire somebody he doesn't know to go jump on his car's roof one night. Can't prove it was you but sure as hell knows and then also knows you know. and of course set up the game cam to catch him in the act if he follows up, then have him arrested and jailed and sue for the damages.

I want to say Thank You to everyone that has commented on this issue. I had a deputy tell me that unless I had a way to prove it accusing someone would be pure speculation. Grrrr! I am a former Marine, I am 5'10'', I weigh 239 lbs., and my wife says all my body fat is contained in my head, and I do believe " Kill them all and let God sort them out". However I consider myself to be an intelligent man, so after my emotions returned to a more normal state I am thankful that no chrome, plastic, or glass was damaged. I will be moving all the automobiles out of the area they are now in. I will repair the roof and then I think I will reassemble this car and try to sell it in a more professional manor.
It is a shame, but just another one of life's little set backs. Sometimes I find it hard to to control my anger, but then common sense kicks in and I'm okay. It is very obvious to me that God really does have my back.
There are no words that can describe how much the above comments have promoted me back to my normal self. I Thank each and everyone of y'all and if i can ever return the favor i will be happy to do so. The veins in my head are receding and my blood pressure is returning to mostly normal. Today is a better day.

Glad you are back to semi-normal Trimmer. When you are that angry and immediately react to bad stuff that happens, a lot of times you make a bad decision and make things worse. I know I have in the past. The fact that you have cooled down and kept yourself out of trouble shows just how much smarter and mature you are than the a**holes that damaged your stuff. I feel like these dirtheads will get their just rewards someday. What goes around comes around.

Is the guy or guys that did this from our area? Id like to know who they are. If they knew of the rattlesnakes you killed there then they mite have thought twice bout going through the woods like you said. I think at times its just plain jealousy that makes people do stuff like this. They think if they cant be happy with it then no one will. And just think of the chance they took in getting caught doing it. You know it must have made a lot of noise putting a dent that large in an old piece of American iron.

Now that you are calm, try this. Get the word out quietly that this fellow did this to your car. Hopefully, the word will get back to him that you know. Now, don't do or say anything if you ever see him. Look him in the eye and give a little smile to indicate that you know what he did. Let him sweat it out.
