I don't like new Mac and Cheese. Don't get me wrong I'll eat the $1 hot and tasty chicken at McD's or tear the hell out of the value menu at Taco Bell. Just never liked Mac and Cheese. Did they even have that in the 60's?

I’d eat twenty year old mac and cheese. Really, there’s nothing in it to go bad, so as long as it wasn’t stored poorly and hasn’t gone moldy it would be fine.

I think what your missing is that this is a bulk product, did anybody read the article? I guess not because it says.
"All 63 boxes fit nicely under the 15 stairs going to the basement, the reviewer wrote."
You have 20 years to eat 63 boxes, I can easily eat 3-4 boxes a year.
It must've been a good deal to sell out.

Hell yes, I'd eat it. Add to that, the bucket would come in handy for other "hawlin & storin" type stuff! The usual emergency rat stuff offers a little more variety to choose from. It's good to be a little prepared for any emergency. With the last few winters here in the northeast as well as the 4 Nor-easters we got in March last year, power was out for quite some time in many areas. You'd be surprised at what you would eat when food gets scarce.

I think the 63 boxes was part of the emergency food kit that they sell. The Mac & Cheese is in a pail.
