Eat you hearts out! News just showed that some places might hit -50, and when we hit -40C it is the same as -40F.

We’ve been in a cold spell this whole month, although not as our friends in the Great White North. It’s 17 this morning and the past two days had 40+ mph winds. Looks like the cold spell will be broken by Monday as they are talking about temps in the low 40s.

I saw "real feel" temp in WNY was in Minus teens the past few days, and windy ! Glad to be away, and here on the Gulf of America, where it's been warmer than usual, with the last 20+ days reaching into the 80's. We’ve had more snow this year than last, but we are still below our normal. Last winter was so warm and snowless that flowers were starting to pop up in mid-February. It was nice.
