wow thats a slap to the face.

I would like to know his side of the story, not to say you'er wrong or not justified or anything.
I have never seen a one sided coin.

...Get your own car that does not have any ties to him. That way he can't pull **** down the road.

Jacob, I'd let this one go - Primarily for EXACTLY the reason that MoparMarks mentioned. All you need is to get the thing, put a whole lot of work and money into it, and then wind up with a ton of ownership issues once it starts to really come together.

Here's what I would do - start saving up NOW, a little each month while you look. As mentioned, YOUR Mopar will find YOU. You just need to keep your eyes peeled. Once you find it, pounce.

P.S. - Whatever happened with that Vega wagon you were thinking about?

sometimes its best to not get upset and
just cut your losses and start stashing loot away for your own ride.
stop working on the car and use the time to make some extra loot
then you can't get caught into this position.
good luck

I'll have to agree with Moparmarks and flypaper, not all lessons in life are fun, but they are lessons. In this case on who you can trust. Get your own car and learn from this. Not all partnerships work out for the best especially ones that deal with family or money. Good luck Jacob.

i have done many cars.the last one i got(67 coronet)took me over a year of looking to find it.dont get frustrated on a short term.if this will be your first resto project, take your time and get something you will love to drive.dont worry about your current situation, just roll with it and reciprocate in kind.treat him the way he treats you.shure it sucks now,but it wont matter when you find the car you love.

Yeah, that sucks. You would be amazed at how things have a way of working themselves out. I personally didn't think I'd ever own a cool mopar let alone my dream car but it worked out in the end. I had just sold a trailer home for 3,500 looking threw the classifieds a day later and there it was a 1969 charger for can you guess 3,500. It all worked out
