There are few miles on this tire well under 10k maybe 4 years old. On an extra car we have that doesn’t get used much. This failed today at 30 mph luckily. Hankook tire. Lots of recalls I just learned for this very thing on hankook tires.

Great, that’s what I’m running on my old Corvette and I really like them. But that really looks like a nasty failure. Glad it was a low speed failure.
I’m running 3 year old Kinergy STs and I don’t see any recalls on them except in one particular 60 series size, so I hope they are good. A lot of Corvette owners have been putting them on due to 75 and 70 series sizes.

I've had great luck with
Toyo/Less Schwab, Open Country A/T 32x11.5"x15 over 42k miles still 1/2 the tread left
done all kinds of wheeling & snow driving etc., garage kept truck
nice handling for 4x4 & are quite (only like 3-4 (?) ply) for how aggressive tread they are
(Org. a Japanese owned co. USA sold tires are now, & have been made in Bartow County, Georgia)
I may even go back to them in a 33x10"x15, we'll see...

Or soon to be General Grabbers ATX 33x10"
may be switching over because a bit taller & narrower, a bit deeper tread
w/side bite for better for airing down, in the snow & rocks
w/a bit thinner sidewalls 2-3 (?) ply
nice aggressive & "allegedly" quiet tread pattern to

on my 99 Dakota SLT 4x4, weighs about 4800#s, I've owned for 25+ years now
they aren't cheap, but worth the extra $$, fully warrantied & guaranteed
the OE Wranglers/Good Years 31.5x10.5"x15 that came on the truck
sucked-***, for long lasting, but good/soft wet traction
but only lasted less than 20k (19,000)
I had the same experiences (on another truck) with Coopers as the Good Years
wore out quickly

Where do you find this type of info?
Just an internet search using the brand of the tires. I got them at discount tire 4 years ago. They have a 70,000 mile warranty. They have only seen 11,000 miles. Not sure what discount is going to do won’t be able to take the car there until Monday.
