I'm looking for a pair of license plate lamps used or repops for my 65 satellite with lens I thought I tagged and bagged them but they are not to be found
Okay - while we're on the subject of license plate lamps, how do you remove the clear lens? My (all original) `65 belvedere needs to have the license plate light lens and they're held in place with "one-way" screw. Not sure of the technical term but they have half a head. Can be screwed in but not backed out. Have seen these type screws on public bathroom stalls but never on a car...
Thanks,
Steve
Pretty sure your right, on the screws. Should be like on my 64, just phillip head screws, a foam seal between body and light housing. Once housing, and lenses are out, four tabs on the housing hold lense in place.
Just 'loosen' the tabs, and lense will slip out.
Might have to try real small vice grips, or the like, to get those one way screws out.
