Yeah....right

How true...our Avenger's engine is manufactured in the Kenosha WI plant, and the 6 speed trans is produced in Kokomo Indiana...there is some hope! And another note, as a Canadian, I don't consider a vehicle made in the US a foreign vehicle, I had hope that my American brothers felt the same.
I suppose we are picking the flyshit out of the pepper now!

Before we get too political I'll sign off on this one by saying...Mopar or no car.

Cheers from the north.

When I was looking for a gas tank for my Roadrunner I had found one for a good price, then I saw it was made across the pond somewhere and I said no way. I found another one and asked where it was made, the reply said it was made in Canada, and I said good, I'll take it. I have no problem buying stuff made north of the border. I'd much rather my money stay in North America, 'cause we're all in this together!

My sentiments exactly Roadcuda, I had been searching around for cam & lifter packages, once I found out (on this site) that Comp Cams had moved manufacturing offshore (China?) I steered clear of them. Its hard these days to buy only North American made goods...Just drop by Wal-Mart...lol...I call it china town!

On to bigger and better topics!

Its been a great run for Chrysler and I believe thier products have greatly improved over the last decade. I can't pry my wife out of our R/T awd...oh well, I planned to get her her 'dream' car so I could play with mine...lol
Same with my wife & her 99 Durango...Got 234,000 miles on it right now. Still holding 65-70 psi oil pressure. At last spark plug change, 2 mos ago, still holding 175- 180 psi compression across the motor. Last tank of gas got 20.12 mpg.

Similar deal with my 96 S-10. 281,000 miles on it. still pulls my work trailer everyday and stills runs low 12 1/4's on the weekend. Have done a bit of work to it to get there, but have never had the heads off.

Doubt that rice would hold up that well, especially under MY right foot.
