I thought this would be interesting. What was your 1rst B Body Mopar, and what year did you get it. How much did it cost. If you want, give us a list of the 2nd, 3rd, and so forth.

1. 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 2 door, 383 4barrel automatic with console. It was light gold metallic with matching interior. $1480.00 in 1968 from a Plymouth dealer.

2. 1969 A12 Road Runner 440 with four speed. Rallye Green Metallic with tan interior. $3995.00 new from the same Plymouth dealer, March 1970. It was a dealer demonstrator.

My 1st car in 1976 was a 1969 Charger R/T. Car in my sig. Sold new in my home town. Was 3rd owner. Bought it for 700.00 with 63K on the clock. Sold it in 1987 to a kid who totalled it out in 2 weeks. Have owned over 300 Mopars since.

My first was a 70 383 roadrunner, bought in 1986 for 1300.00 bucks. 383 auto, body was STRAIGHT. I got another 70 runner a few years back, but would love to find my first. Orange exterior with white interior, kind of a pieced together car, but I loved it in High School.

Couple A-Bodies/B/E I shouldn't have let go....
1972 Dodge Dart Swinger...1993 paid $2650, car was tip top shape when I sold it, now days it's rotting in a field..shame
1970 Dodge Dart Swinger....2003 paid $2000 bucks
1971 Plymouth Duster....1998 paid $1700 bucks, car has been sitting in a barn since about a year after I sold it.
1970 Dodge Challenger... 1995 paid $4500 bucks, now days car is a trailer queen 30 miles from here
1976 Chrysler Cordoba... 2002 paid $1200 bucks, car was totaled by guy who bought it, while intoxicated 3 days later (he lived, car died)

1970 440 6 pak 4 speed 1970 Road Runner. Bought it in 1979 when I was 16 for $650. Had to sell it a year later after a reckless driving ticket and getting the car zebra tagged. I have owned 17 Road Runners since and that is still my favorite.

SB 67 Dodge Charger auto
BB 69 RR 4-speed
/6 68 Dodge Coronet 4-door auto
SB 70 RR 4-speed
BB 68 RR 4-speed ( poor condition )

Guess I'm the short timer. 1st B body 68' GTX clone (SS) Bought this past april. After yearning for a Mopar for years I finally stopped saying maybe next year I can afford what I want. So I bought what I could afford, cause you never know you might not be here next year. Used to have those chebie cars. My Gtx is the most enjoyable car I've ever owned.

^^^ im with you sublime...my GTX'er is my first b-body (bought it 4 years ago), and im loving every second of it.

Some of us are old, and Mopar demented LOL

69 Coronet R/T. 1988. $3,450. It's out in the driveway now. Bought when I was 35. If I had it new when 16 in 1969, I probably would not be here now.

In 1992 I bought a 70 Super Bee - 383 4 speed with a 3.54 Dana for $1500. That was probably the closest to rust free I've ever had. I sold it a year later and bought a Cordoba....if I could go back in time I'd punch myself in the face for that decision!

Last year i sold my Mustang GT vert (1986) cause i "saw the light", and found my 71 RR Clone on CL, 383 4bbl, 3500stall, great driver condition, new engine now 400 block, 391 rear B5 blue.

#1. 1968 Coronet 500 dealer demonstrator 200 miles, $2800.00 in 1970
#2 1969 Dodge Charger, 383 4bbl., from original owner in 1981, daily driver, solid body, $3000.00 cash
#3. 1970 Plymouth GTX, mostly restored this year for a small fortune.

In 1971 I was trying to buy a 1970 Super Bee 440 6 pack 4 speed from a dealer in vancouver asking $4400 if my memory serves me. I could swing 4 grand and the dealer wouldn't come down so I had to let it go. When you are a 19 years old, you ain't too smart.

#1 1974 Roadrunner in 1983 .... $1200, still have it today!
#2 1965 Belvedere 2dr HT in 1989 ... FREE, in process of the second restoration since i have had it.
#3 1965 Satellite Convertible in 2000...$50, waiting on the back burner.

First car after getting licence was 65 Barracuda 273 4spd. Nice clean car. That was in 1971.$600.Rolled it on the Wash D.C. Beltway in early 1972.Bought a 68 Road Runner RM23 383 4spd for 1400 in early 72. Drove it alll the way through High School,
. My wife and I dated in that car. Sold it in 1976 to buy a gas miser 1970 Dart 225 A/T to commute. Kept the Dart and bought a 1969 Super Bee A12 car in 1977. That car was stupid fast. Sold it in 1978 to buy a 1960 Fulie. Kept the Dart for a few more years. Found my current 68 Road Runner 383 4spd, numbers car, one owner for $2500 around 2001. Sat around for 5 yrs before I started the restoration.Almost done now on the RR. Also have Jeeps and , wife has a 2006 Chry 300.

1970 Belvedere with a 318. It was my dad's car and he gave it to me after he'd totally ragged out the engine at only 47,000 miles. It ran like a wet sponge and belched oil smoke. I sold it to a friend for $700 and got myself a '66 289 Mustang instead. A couple of weeks later the friend came tearing down the street in my pop's Belvie, which now had a 440 in it and some gigantic L-60 tires on the back. :icon_evil:
