everyone knows the Mopars, but not a lot are familiar w/ the third...a Fiat Dino Spyder,,,almost bought one once. the 57 300 vert is the best ever convertible roofline. counters the fins marvelously...dual cowl should make anyone salivate some.
Hey Mar....i wish i had potos of the Merc and a lot of the other kustoms i werked on. I did(web image) however work on three of these in 97 @ Santini's in westminster...there were supposed to have been 25 altogether and they were slated for Japan....Majestic Nomad...all trim on quarters is the fabulous airbrush & sword brush of Steve Stanford...Two were panels, this could be one here and the other retained side glass. D/A'd w/ 800 dry 1st w/ interface pad to really flatten not only the short peel, but the wobbly, bigger movement. then i blocked manually wet 1000, 1500, 2000. Flattest urethane ever....just this side of a well rubbed nitro job

Anyone here know of a now defunct publication called Auto Graphics? was a bi-monthly enthusiast/DIY mag featuring a lot of the hottest air & sword brushes. Steve Stanford and Bob Iverson were both in the same issue i was..Aug/Sept 1997....Santini engineered the article for me and captioned the potos, was a 4 page article, jus potos & captions I'm published as jimi buff-it. a nickname i earned in AZ in 1989 that followed me to Cali in 92. Anyone that may be sitting on a back log of auto graphix and have that issue...PM me please...lost my copies a while back. The Buff-it moniker stayed w/ me into the millenium, by that time i was mostly doing aircraft.....did a lot of grinding & polishing of acrylic glass...triky stuff in regards to tolerances and optics....major patience, concentration, endurance and cautious movement required. The A/C crowd latched onto the name and it was fairly well known on most of the airports in LA basin....there's about 40

kiwigtx....Nice Man......i saw the original a few times @ shows back in sixties, saw it run once @ Tucson.........there was a Ford Econoline truck contemporary @ time as well, can't remember name of it, but a wheelstander....i remember on the sails it had an aircraft advertising slogan of that time "I Like To Fly"
